Alucio, a fast-growing provider of cloud-based software for the life sciences industry, announced an update to its Beacon scientific exchange platform to better serve Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and life science companies in their scientific discussions. This unique Beacon Hub feature will provide HCPs and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) with the ability to collaborate, engage, and exchange information, in a shared, secure online space outside of actual meetings. This convenient option allows for follow-on exploration and communication exchanges on shared scientific topics which can build trust and deepen relationships.
Beacon is a modern content activation and HCP engagement platform built specifically for Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Medical Affairs professionals and Market Access teams.

This new personalized communication feature offers multiple ways for MSLs to facilitate permission-based interactions with HCPs after a meeting. These include providing read-only scientific documents or presentations, collaborating on shared action items, posting follow up on flagged topics from previous exchanges, sharing files, and accessing relevant journal articles or other web resources. This allows HCPs and MSLs to continue to engage each other asynchronously.
Beacon Hub is configurable to reflect life science company branding, compliance, and data synch requirements and complements internal CRM systems. In addition, as a return destination for the HCPs, Medical Information support can also be seamlessly integrated to respond to new inquiries that may arise.
