CitiusTech Collaborates with Microsoft to Streamline Value-Based Contracting and Provider Performance Management for Health Plans and Systems

CitiusTech, a global provider of digital technology and consulting services to healthcare and life sciences organizations, announced that it is working with Microsoft to jointly offer PERFORM+ Contracts; a state-of-the-art value-based contracting and provider performance management solution for health plans and health systems. As a globally recognized Microsoft Partner, CitiusTech will now offer PERFORM+ Contracts on Microsoft Azure to help healthcare organizations optimize and manage complex value-based contracts across a growing list of quality and regulatory programs.

“Value-based care and contracts can only be successful if there is a way to measure and manage what’s most important. This relationship demonstrates our common commitment with Microsoft to help health plans and health systems achieve better outcomes, achieve VBC targets, and reward providers for performance,” Jeffrey Springer, Senior Vice President and Head of Products, CitiusTech.

PERFORM+ Contracts was added to the PERFORM+ suite to address highly fragmented approaches to managing diverse value-based care contracts and performance measures. The solution provides a centralized source to manage provider performance, VBC goals, and incentives across quality programs.

“The move from volume to value is in full force and Microsoft provides robust, accessible, and usable tools to realize the value-based care vision. Our work with CitiusTech extends our longstanding relationship and success deeper into supporting new payment models and quality programs,” said Amy Berk, MSN, RN, director of Population Health at Microsoft.

Benefitting from data management through Azure, PERFORM+ Contracts simplifies three key elements in a value-based arrangement: establishing a manageable program across quality measures, monitoring network and provider performance, and creates projections that help prioritize incentives. Tight integration with Microsoft provides out-of-the-box features for integration, robust analytics, patient attribution and provider hierarchy.

Value-based contract and health plan leaders use PERFORM+ Contracts to perform advanced analytics on cohorts by member segments, conditions, and providers. Through integrating structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, and applying artificial intelligence and machine learning technology, the solution creates transparency with providers and supports building greater trust in collaborative, value-based relationships.
