eClinical Solutions Expands elluminate IQ Offering for AI-Enabled Data Review to Deliver Increased Efficiencies and Quality to Clinical Data Management

Company leadership to discuss enhanced product suite, AI-enabled data review use cases and automation’s role in driving the future of clinical data management at upcoming industry events

eClinical Solutions, a global provider of digital clinical software and biometrics services, announced expanded artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities within the elluminate IQ offering. Embedded in elluminate Data Central – the elluminate Clinical Data Cloud’s data management workbench providing seamless access to comprehensive trial data across systems and sources – elluminate IQ Review (eIQ Review) enables data management teams to leverage these advanced AI/ML capabilities to conduct data review in a more efficient, scalable way.

“The New Blueprint for Data Managers: Operationalizing Innovation & Automation Throughout the Trial Lifecycle”

Detection of anomalous data by clinical reviewers has historically been difficult, manual, and time-consuming. Using the additional models deployed in eIQ Review, data issues are surfaced that wouldn’t be identified in a traditional review approach and manual efforts are reduced, enabling data managers and medical reviewers to focus on critical data. As a result, data quality is improved, productivity across data management teams is increased, and cycle times are reduced. There are several use cases deployed in eIQ Review that collectively automate over 25 clinical data review objectives.

“The continued proliferation of data volume coupled with heightened demand for efficiency and cycle time gains necessitates the adoption of advanced AI techniques,” says Raj Indupuri, CEO and co-founder of eClinical Solutions. “The application of AI/ML models, like those in elluminate IQ, to rapidly identify anomalous data can help address the most challenging and time-consuming aspects of clinical data. Integrating data across sources for one source of truth and providing reviewers these models along with advanced data review tools and analytics in a connected platform speeds cycle times across the data lifecycle. With eIQ Review, these data review-focused elluminate IQ models complement other aspects of the elluminate Clinical Data Cloud platform and enable data stakeholders to enhance collaboration by leveraging advanced techniques, clinical knowledge, and visualizations in a centralized source of truth with unified interfaces.”

The comprehensive elluminate platform including the expanded eIQ Review capabilities will be featured at industry events across the US and Europe this spring along with eClinical leaders sharing the latest trends across digital transformation and automation.
