Here’s our exclusive roundup of upcoming events across North Carolina through the end of February. Included are the latest meetups, conferences, workshops, application deadlines and networking events happening in Asheville, Charlotte, the Triad, Wilmington and other parts of the state.

Many events will be held in person, as some organizers are returning to live events. Others will be held virtually and are noted as such.

UNCW CIE Givitas Community Event

UNC Wilmington’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will host a networking event for students, entrepreneurs and community members.

7 Habits of Highly Effective People Workshop

In this three-day workshop, Dan Roselli of RevTech Labs will unpack the professional development techniques covered in Stephen Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”

NC IDEA 101 with Natalie Scarritt & Jeff Livesay of CopyForward

Join this virtual information session to learn about NC IDEA and its grants, programs and other initiatives serving North Carolina startups. Natalie Scarritt and Jeff Livesay of CopyForward will lead the session.

RevTech Labs Accelerator Information Session

Jan. 30, 5:30-6:30 p.m. @Packard Place

Join this information session to learn about Charlotte-based RevTech Labs, a hybrid accelerator for post-revenue startups in the fintech and insurtech sectors. Applications are open for the next cohort through Feb. 17.

Applications Open for NC IDEA’s Spring 2023 Grants Cycle

Jan. 30

NC IDEA will open the application window for its two flagship grant programs, serving North Carolina tech startups: NC IDEA MICRO (small, project-based grants of $10,000) and NC IDEA SEED ($50,000 for startups with a proven concept). Applications close on Feb. 27.

Queen City Women in Business Breakfast Conference

Jan. 31, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. @Charlotte Museum of History

This conference will convene entrepreneurs, technology industry representatives, business owners, executives and others to network and hear a panel from top business leaders in Charlotte.

Application Deadline: DIG SOUTH Wild Pitch Competition (in SC)

Jan. 31

Companies across the Southeast are welcome to apply to DIG SOUTH’s upcoming pitch competition in South Carolina. Selected startups will pitch to an audience of investors, executives, fellow entrepreneurs and other leaders. The 2023 edition will be held during the DIG SOUTH Tech Summit from April 26–27 in Charleston.

LaunchCLT Infinite Possibilities
