RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Plenty of technology and life science events and program deadlines are coming up across North Carolina in June. Several events will be held in person or in a hybrid format, while many others remain virtual.
Building on WRAL TechWire’s ongoing work tracking important events and deadlines across North Carolina, here’s a look at what’s to come in June 2023:
On the Menu: QuickBooks Online 101

First Flight Boil, Brews & Band

Coffee & Conversation with Charlotte Business Group

This pitch event, held during the Gig East Summit, will feature presentations from teams in RIoT Accelerator Program’s Wilson cohort.
Workplace DEI Conference: Triangle
June 8 @McKimmon Conference & Training Center
At this conference, C-suite executives and HR professionals from private and nonprofit sectors will discuss diversity programs, recruitment and retention, unconscious bias and other topics.
Gig East Summit 2023

Gig East’s annual summit will focus on how ChatGPT and artificial intelligence influences our lives and business processes.
Networking + NEXT TECH Awards Celebration

This two-day conference, hosted by NC TECH, will offer networking, keynotes, interactive sessions, workshops and a showcase of early-stage tech startups.
Triangle Biotech Tuesday

Triangle Biotech Tuesday is a monthly meetup that connects scientific professionals across the RTP/greater Triangle area. Join to network with professionals from different industries. The group meets on the second Tuesday of every month.
Medical, Biomedical & Biodefense: Support to the Warfighter Symposium
June 13–14 at NCBiotech and The Friday Center
This annual event brings together military departments and other federal agencies that purchase medical supplies, equipment, and biomedical and biodefense technologies. Before the symposium, a pre-event session on June 13 will cover the truths and misconceptions of Department of Defense funding.
