RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Plenty of technology and life science events and program deadlines are coming up across North Carolina in March. Several events will be held in person or in a hybrid format, while many others remain virtual.

Building on WRAL TechWire’s ongoing work tracking important events and deadlines across North Carolina, here’s a look at what’s to come in March 2023:

1 Million Cups Lake Norman

Every Wednesday morning, entrepreneurs in the Lake Norman area join to present their companies to mentors, advisers and other startups. Join to meet new people and collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs.

1 Million Cups Charlotte

March 1, 8-9 a.m. (online)

Held every week, 1 Million Cups Charlotte features a presentation from a local startup followed by a Q&A from the community.

Tech Slam ‘N Eggs

March 1, 8-9:30 a.m. @Flywheel Coworking Concord

This hybrid event will feature two to three software developers presenting their tech stacks, their insights and any challenges they overcame. This month’s event will be held live in Concord, with virtual sessions at Flywheel Coworking’s Winston-Salem and Greenville locations.

1 Million Cups Fayetteville

March 1, 9 a.m. @Fayetteville Technical Community College

Entrepreneurs in Fayetteville are welcome to attend 1 Million Cups every Wednesday to present their ventures and meet other founders in the area.

2023 NC STIR Briefing

In this webinar, NC TECH will unveil its ninth annual State of the Technology Industry (STIR) report and accompanying directory of the organization’s members. Economic development expert Ted Abernathy will present the key findings of the report.
