Inbox Health intends to use the funds to further accelerate the strategic growth of its data-driven platform that works to automate and personalize patient billing communications.

Inbox Health, a New Haven, CT-based StartUp Health company that provides a patient billing communications platform, raised $22.5M. The Series B round was led by Ten Coves Capital, with participation from Commerce Ventures, CT Innovations, Vertical Venture Partners, Healthy Ventures, and Fairview Capital. <source>

Other reported health innovation funding this week included:

Healthy.io, a Boston, MA-based developer of a smartphone-powered kidney test, raised $50M led by Schusterman Family Investments, with participation from Aleph and other existing shareholders. <source>

Intrinsic, a New York, NY-based omni-channel women’s consumer health company, raised $15M from FCA Venture Partners, MAP Investco, Define Ventures, Link Ventures, Redesign Health, and others. <source>

Surgical Safety Technologies, a Toronto, ON, Canada-based medical technology company, raised $15M led by U.S. Venture Partners and Santé Ventures. <source>

Optain, a New York, NY-based AI company that uses photos of the eye to detect and prevent early stage disease, raised $12M from Ascertain. <source>

Domo Health, a Lausanne, Switzerland-based digital health platform that connects patients to their local care environment, raised CHF 8.5M (~$9.6M) from Hirslanden Group, the Single Family Office Céleste, SAK (St. Gallisch-Appenzellische Kraftwerke AG — the public energy service provider in Eastern Switzerland), and others. <source>

Thesis, a New York, NY-based company that offers a customized approach to cognitive performance products based on brain chemistry, raised $8.4M from Unilever Ventures, Redo Ventures, Alive VC, Break Trail, Kevin Love, and Kate Bock. <source>

Sensydia, a Los Angeles, CA-based non-invasive cardiac assessment company, raised $8M led by Orlando Health Ventures, with participation from Colle Capital, Frontier Venture Capital, and others. <source>

Lucem Health, a Davidson, NC-based provider of clinical AI technology and solutions, raised $7.7M from Mayo Clinic, Granger Management, Mercy, and Rally Ventures. <source>

MultiOmic Health, a London-based AI-enabled drug discovery company, raised £5M (~6.2M) led by Hoxton Ventures, with participation from Ada Ventures, MMC Ventures, and Verve Ventures. <source>

Genemod, a Seattle, WA-based provider of cloud-based workspace collaboration software for biopharma R&D teams, raised $4.5M co-led by defy.vc and LDV Partners, with participation from Dolby Family Ventures and Vulcan/Cercano Ventures. <source>

Automize AI, an Austin, TX-based artificial intelligence company for healthcare and life sciences, raised $4M led by Asset Management Ventures, with participation from ATX Venture Partners, Loop Ventures, and The Next Practices Group. <source>

Essenvia, a Los Angeles, CA-based startup focused on regulatory submission management for the medtech industry, raised $4M led by Benhamou Global Ventures and Wavemaker360, with participation from First Rays, Rebright partners, and Pasadena Angels. <source>

Pluto Biosciences, a Denver, CO-based life sciences SaaS platform, raised $3.7M led by Silverton Partners. <source>
