Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B (APSB) was founded with the goal of creating a global high-level forum centred around drug discovery and pharmaceutical research/application. APSB was included by Chemical Abstracts in 2011, accepted by PubMed Central in 2015, indexed by Science Citation Index in 2017 and has evolved to become one of the most important international journals in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

APSB is a monthly journal, in English, which publishes significant original research articles, rapid communications and high-quality reviews of recent advances in all areas of pharmaceutical sciences — including pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, natural products, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical analysis and pharmacokinetics.

Data-driven engineering framework with AI algorithm of Ginkgo Folium tablets manufacturing by Lijuan Ma, Jing Zhang, Ling Lin et al. (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.apsb.2022.08.011). The innovative data-driven engineering strategy integrated artificial intelligence (Al) algorithms was proposed for process capability and end-to-end quality traceability of intelligent pharmaceutical manufacturing.

 

Entinostat, a class I selective histone deacetylase inhibitor, plus exemestane for Chinese patients with hormone receptor-positive advanced breast cancer: A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, phase 3 trial by Binghe Xu, Qingyuan Zhang, Xichun Hu et al. (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.apsb.2023.02.001). In this multicenter phase III trial in Chinese patients with hormone receptor-positive advanced breast cancer, entinostat plus exemestane significantly prolonged the progression-free survival compared to placebo plus exemestane (HR = 0.76, P = 0.046).
