RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – WRAL TechWire keeps tabs on the latest meetups, panels, workshops, conferences, application deadlines and everything happening in the entrepreneurial, technology and business communities in the Triangle and across North Carolina.
Following is a list of events in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and the greater Triangle area through the end of September. Many events will be held in person, as some organizers are returning to a live format.

Application Deadline: Downtown Raleigh Alliance Storefront Upfit Grant
Sept. 1
This grant program from the Downtown Raleigh Alliance helps cover upfit expenses for new storefront businesses across the retail, restaurant and services sectors. Applications are open for the next round of funding.
Application Deadline: Big Launch Challenge Pitch Competition
Sept. 1
The Launch Place’s 11th annual Big Launch Challenge will return to Durham this October. Applications are open for the pitch program, in which 10 early-stage startups will compete for $15,000.
Application Deadline: Entrepalooza Minute to Pitch It Competition
Sept. 3, 11:59 p.m.
Held at Entrepalooza on Sept. 14, the Minute to Pitch It program allows 10 NC State student entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas for a $2,500 prize. Applications close at 11:59 p.m.
Test Flight Pitch Practice

Test Flight Pitch Practice, hosted by First Flight Venture Center, is an opportunity for early-stage startups to hone their pitch and get feedback from an audience of investors, mentors, customers and other reviewers.
