Other health innovation funding rounds this week went to health insurance, neurotech, care coordination, behavioral health, and much more.

This week’s health innovation funding featured StartUp Health company Medwise.ai, a Leeds, UK-based search platform for medical professionals and healthcare organizations. Finance Yorkshire led the £1M ($1.2M) seed round, with participation from StartUp Health, CalmStorm VC, and Deeptech Labs. <source>

Other health innovation funding reported this week included:

Gravie, a Minneapolis, MN-based employer health benefits company, raised $179M led by General Atlantic, with participation from FirstMark Capital and AXA Venture Partners. <source>

Wellvana Health, a Nashville, TN-based company helping doctors deliver healthcare across independent primary care physicians, specialists, and health systems, raised $84M led by Heritage Group and Valtruis, with participation from Memorial Hermann Health System. <source>

Cognito Therapeutics, a Cambridge, MA-based neurotechnology company advancing disease-modifying therapies to treat CNS diseases, raised $73M led by FoundersX Ventures, with participation from Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation, Starbloom Capital, IAG Capital, and WS Investment Company. <source>

Apprentice.io, a Jersey City, NJ-based provider of a platform for life science manufacturers to turn molecules into medicine, raised $65M led by ICONIQ Growth, with participation from Alkeon Capital Management and Insight Partners. <source>

Viz.ai, a San Francisco, CA-based AI-powered care coordination platform, raised $40M from CIBC Innovation Banking. <source>

Bend Health, Madison, WI-based youth- and family-focused telebehavioral health company, raised $32M from Maveron, SteelSky Ventures, and WVV Capital. <source>

Vital, a Claymont, DE-based AI-driven digital health company, raised $24.7M led by Transformation Capital, with participation from Threshold Ventures and Aaron Patzer. <source>

Labviva, a Boston, MA-based AI-driven life sciences digital marketplace, raised $20M led by Biospring Partners, with participation from Senator Investment Group, B Capital Group, and Glasswing Ventures. <source>

Zorro, a New York, NY-based health benefits company for employees, raised $11.5M co-led by Pitango and 10D. <source>

Pragma Bio, a South San Francisco, CA-based technology-enabled platform for drug discovery, raised $10M led by The Venture Collective, Viking Global Investors, Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, and CJ Investments. <source>

MVision AI, a Helsinki, Finland-based cloud-based software service provider for radiotherapy treatment planning, raised €5.4M ($5.8M) led by J12 Ventures and Voima Ventures. <source>

Mantra Health, a New York, NY-based digital mental health platform, raised $5M led by VMG Partners. <source>

Reveal HealthTech, a New York, NY-based startup providing healthcare organizations with specialized engineering services, raised $4M from W Health Ventures. <source>

Thoughtfull, a Singapore-based digital mental health company, raised $4M led by Sheares Healthcare Group, with participation from Vulpes Investment Management, The Hive Southeast Asia, and individuals and private family offices. <source>

Bionic Health, a Durham, NC-based AI health clinic built on OpenAI’s GPT-4, raised $3M from IDEA Fund Partners, Studio VC, Alumni Ventures, Tweener Fund, AI Operator’s Fund, and Operator.VC. <source>

Kayentis, a Grenoble, France-based provider of electronic clinical outcome assessment (eCOA) and decentralized clinical trial (DCT) solutions, raised €2.2M ($2.4M) led by LBO France, Extens and Bpifrance. <source>

GoJoe, a London, UK-based social fitness app for work and play, raised £1.2M ($1.5M) led by Superbet Ventures, with participation from Hellen’s Rock, Animoca Brands, and Michael Carrick. <source>
