In our last weekly health innovation funding round-up of the year, we saw money going to sonic beam therapy, preventative health, fitness, biotech, chronic pain, and much more.

This week’s reported health innovation funding included:

HistoSonics, a Minneapolis, MN-based developer of a non-invasive sonic beam therapy, raised $85M led by Johnson & Johnson Innovation, with participation from Venture Investors, Lumira Ventures, Yonjin Venture, the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, and others. <source>

Fountain Life, a Naples, FL-based preventative health and longevity company, raised $15M from Eos Venture Partners and Newcross Healthcare. <source>

Arketa, a Los Angeles, CA-based platform helping fitness businesses scale hybrid offerings, raised $7.6M from First Round Capital, Amity Ventures, Fitt Capital, Y Combinator, and others. <source>

Pangea Biomed, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based biotech company, raised $5M led by Danny Tocatly and NFX. <source>

Override, a virtual chronic pain solution, raised $3.5M led by 7wireVentures and Martin Ventures, with participation from SignalFire and Confluent Health. <source>

Vizabli, a Mason, OH-based med-tech company providing interactive, touchscreen smartboards and mobile applications to hospitals, raised $2.5M led by Lone Star Communications. <source>

Senzo, a Philadelphia, PA-based in vitro diagnostics company, raised $1.9M led by BioAdvance and Wellness Coaches. <source>

MyHealth Africa, a Nairobi, Kenya-based integrated healthcare platform connecting patients with local and international health specialists and hospitals, raised $1M led by GIIG Africa Fund, with participation from Samurai VC, a family office, and existing investors. <source>

Empatica, a Boston, MA-based digital health and AI company, raised an undisclosed amount led by Sanofi Ventures and RA Capital Management, with participation from Black Opal Ventures. <source>

PaxeraHealth, a Boston, MA-based medical imaging and AI developer, raised an undisclosed amount led by Sopris Capital. <source>

Rise Health, a Phoenix, AZ-based provider of a primary care platform, raised an undisclosed amount from Lorient Capital and Martis Capital. <source>
