RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Plenty of technology and life science events and program deadlines are coming up across North Carolina in October. Several events will be held in person or in a hybrid format, while many others remain virtual.

Building on WRAL TechWire’s ongoing work tracking essential events and deadlines across North Carolina, here’s a look at what’s to come in October 2023:

Cleantech Connect Career Fair

Oct. 2, 1-5:30 p.m. @McKimmon Center

The Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster and NC Clean Energy Technology Center will host a career fair to connect local job seekers and students with employers in the energy and cleantech industry.

Business of Software Conference

Oct. 2–4 @AJ Fletcher Opera Theatre

This three-day conference brings together startup founders, CXOs and software leaders to discuss challenges, opportunities, trends, success stories and more.

2023 Ag & Sciences Career Expo

Oct. 3, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. @NC State Talley Student Union

This multidisciplinary career expo is expected to convene over 1,000 students across 82 undergraduate and graduate programs at NC State University.

Downtown Techies Raleigh Happy Hour

Oct. 3, 5-7 p.m. @Lynnwood Brewing Concern

Big Launch Challenge Pitch Competition
