Save $50 on some of the best true wireless earbuds around at Amazon.

Apple’s AirPods Pro deliver on sound quality, listening modes, long battery life, and a comfortable fit: They’re pretty much perfect earbuds. Now you can score them for less as Amazon is once-again lowering the price by 20%.

The second-generation AirPods Pro are just $199.99, from $249, and match the lowest price we’ve ever tracked on Amazon  (AMZN) – Get Free Report. Better yet, Prime members will score free shipping and for some that means delivery as early as today.

This isn’t the lowest price ever, though. Verizon  (VZ) – Get Free Report offered these for $194.99, but at this price it’s still an excellent time to get Apple’s  (AAPL) – Get Free Report latest earbuds.

Apple

What’s new with the second-generation of AirPods Pro? Apple kept a working design for the earbuds, but offers an additional sized ear-tip in the box. This way, you can get a better seal on your ears for a comfortable listening experience. You can swipe on the left and right stem to adjust the volume, which is a handy improvement.

Audio quality is improved thanks to the H2 chip that features over a billion transistors. You can expect a wider soundstage that lets you hear various elements of a track and stronger bass. The onboard microphones are still listening and, through a custom algorithm, AirPods Pro adjust the mix in real-time.

You still get two listening modes to pick between. Active noise cancellation is up to twice as strong for canceling out noise around you. In our review, we called out just how excellent this way for canceling out noise on a cross-country flight.

Transparency mode is taken up a notch with a new ability to lower noise that measures in at over 85-decibels. Essentially you can hear the world around you, but it won’t be abrasive to your ears. Apple’s named this “Adaptive Transparency” mode and it works wonders when wearing AirPods Pro while walking city-streets.

The combination carrying and charging case can be refueled in a few new ways. You can still plug it in via a Lightning cable, but it also supports a MagSafe charger, a standard Qi-enabled wireless charger, or an Apple Watch charger. You can also get up to 30 hours of battery life with a listening mode when you factor in recharges from the case. AirPods Pro themselves will last for over six hours, closer to seven in our experience, on a full charge.

For fans of lanyards, here is a built in spot to loop on on the left side of the case. You’ll also find a built-in speaker and the addition of a U1 chip for full FindMy support. You can ping the case, as well as the right and left earbuds, if they ever go missing.

Lastly, you’ll still get fast pairing with an iPhone and a seamless experience with all your Apple devices thanks to quick switching. So even if you have a pair of first-generation AirPods Pro, the update is worthwhile thanks to improved sound, noise cancelation, transparency, and extended battery life.

At $199, you’re saving $50 on a pair of excellent earbuds that are some of the best for any iPhone owner. You can get AirPods Pro at Amazon here and read our full review here.
