Earable Neuroscience — an electronics company based in Boulder, Colorado — has received an innovation award in the wearable technologies category from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023) for its FRENZ Brainband product.

On Thursday, the company announced that the flagship product would be showcased at the CES 2023 in Las Vegas next January and that the first deliveries of the FRENZ Brainband would commence in February. The wearable tech is currently available for pre-ordering on the company’s website.

Earable claims the device is the world’s most accurate consumer brainband, capable of stimulating and tracking brain activity to promote improved sleep and focus.

The major press event for the new product was held today at the National Innovation Center (NIC) – Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) in Hanoi, Vietnam where the device is manufactured.

“The NIC is the government agency dedicated to supporting economic growth through innovation. Earable is a great case study for breakthrough innovations born from global – Vietnam collaborations,” said Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the NIC.

The device will cost approximately US$500 and will be available in navy blue, silver gray and a limited edition mint colour.

“Every year, 900 million consumer wearables are sold worldwide. As 45 per cent of the world’s population suffers from sleep problems, unobtrusive sleep-aid products are a fast-growing industry,” said Tam Vu, CEO of Earable Neuroscience.

“The recognition from the industry leaders of consumer electronics at the CES Innovation Awards marks a significant milestone as we are gearing up for FRENZ’ global launch at CES 2023.”

The gadget also features an integrated mobile application that will provide detailed sleep and focus reports to users.
