Orbital Brings Smart Water Solutions to CES 2023 in Collaboration With Amazon

Orbital Systems, a global innovator in deep tech smart water solutions, will showcase its award-winning Orbital Shower and Orbital Tap products at CES 2023 in the Amazon Experience exhibit, located in the Venetian. Mehrdad Mahdjoubi, Founder & CEO, will present and promote the technology as part of Orbital’s continued quest to tackle some of humanity’s most difficult challenges.

Based on the insight that real paradigm shifts have to be made by everyone, every day, Orbital offers products that not only save water and energy, but also improve the customer experience while doing so. Following the Amazon Alexa Fund’s recent investment in Orbital, the company is collaborating with Amazon and their other Alexa Fund portfolio companies at CES who are focused on state-of-the-art solutions for driving a more purpose-driven world.

  • The Alexa Fund is excited about emerging concepts that advance the state of the art of what it means to have a truly sustainable home. The Orbital team has a compelling, no compromise approach that incorporates the latest in sensing and filtration technology, while also embracing voice computing and other smart home features that elevate sustainability”
Paul Bernard, Director of the Alexa Fund.

Visitors of the Amazon Experience exhibit will be able to demo the Orbital Shower live, discovering the unique water saving solution as well as its smart home features, including an Alexa routine and built-in Orbital Audio system. Each Orbital device can connect to a smart home system, enabling customized shower sessions with presets for temperature, flow, timing, and an immersive HiFi music experience while taking long, spa-like showers without wasting water and energy.

Orbital is privileged to be the proven choice by many consumers in Scandinavia as well as premium B2B players such as the eco luxury hotels Guldsmeden in Copenhagen, exclusive Swedish boutique hotels Treehotel, Berns Hotel, Miss Clara and The Duxiana and the iconic spa “Sturebadet” in central Stockholm.

Orbital is currently experiencing a surge in interest for smart water and energy solutions and is ramping up production and delivery to meet the increased demand. The company is expanding rapidly in its home market of Scandinavia and is now looking to other markets where smart water and energy solutions are in high demand. Crossing the Atlantic for CES is a natural step in preparing for the launch of Orbital solutions in the U.S., which they anticipate will happen during 2023.

“We are very excited to meet our US customers and stakeholders at CES 2023. We know that the water situation in many areas of the US is critical. This calls for groundbreaking solutions, and we look forward to address this together with dedicated partners and customers.”
