Amwell, a company that provides digital healthcare telehealth services, has expanded its digital clinical programs to include the DarioHealth cardiometabolic program. This will allow health plans and clinicians to easily connect patients living with chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure to Dario’s personalized digital therapeutic solution on the Amwell platform. The Amwell and Dariohealth partnership is a good example of healthcare consolidation in telehealth.

Clinicians who practice on the Amwell platform can easily refer their patients to a Dario program, making care delivery a simple process. The Dario program focuses on diabetes, high blood pressure, and weight management: three of the core elements of metabolic syndrome. The DarioHealth telehealth program offers personalized and holistic hybrid care. It combines connected devices such as glucometers, intelligent digital experiences, and personalized one-on-one health coaching to provide individualized care.

When telehealth services expand by partnering with other companies, it shows that they are growing and improving. In the future, patients may be able to choose from a range of providers and programs, but for now, most collaborations are exclusive.
